The studio is building an open world adventure game and needs you to build out a season-changing system. The system should work as follows: 

  • The system should switch from summer to winter.
    • Summer is characterized by bright green grasses, sunny blue skies, and colorful wildflowers.
    • Winter is characterized by fluffy white snow, snowy days, and cold wind.
  • As you traverse the environment, we should see an impact - trails in the snow, grass responding to the movement, etc.
  • Each season has a different soundscape.
  • There should be a smooth transition between seasons, as if the season is changing around the player as they explore.
